I had a really pleasant staying at this hotel in Portopalo. the location is perfect - it's conveniently positioned near the main street and important city services. Plus, it's a great base to explore the beautiful beaches of southern Sicily and the natural reservoir of Vendicari. Secondly, the staff, who are locals, manage the hotel in a friendly and familiar manner, making you feel right at home. And let's not forget to mention Mrs. Dora's delicious cuisine! I tried the Sicilian fish specialties and it was truly an enjoyable experience. Lastly, the rooms are clean and spacious, with the added bonus of a beautiful terrace that overlooks the island of Capo Passero.

No improvements needed - everything was perfect!

The hotel room is new and also all the forniture. The room was quite and the staff is friendly. The breakfast was great.

A bit difficult to find car park in the evening because the city center is normally closed to traffic.

the location was perfect. Situated in the heart of the village, it was conveniently close to all the important city services. Secondly, the hotel staff, a lovely family, managed it in a warm and friendly manner, making me feel like part of their family. Lastly, the rooms were clean and spacious, and I especially loved the balcony with its beautiful view of the island of Capo Passero.

No improvements necessary, everything was great!

    1. Friendly and helpful staff. 2. Clean and well-furnished room, though not so large. 3. The food in the restaurant is very tasty and of reasonable price. 4. A beach is in 100m. More beautiful and convenient beaches can be found between Portopalo and Marzamemi. A very good wild beach is near Isola delle Correnti (10 min by car), but don't leave anything valuable in the car, the parking near Isola delle Correnti is very secluded. Many historical and natural sights can be easily reached from Portopalo by car.

    1. The traffic near the hotel is rather noisy early morning (from 6 a.m.) and late evening (at least until 11p.m.), though at night it is quiet. 2. The shower in our room was pulsed. And the temperature of the water pulsed too. We had to have contrast douche every time. Probably something was wrong with the water pump.

Comfortable rooms, edge of town location but still on main street so access to town good. Friendly staff . Stayed off season, so nice they still cared.

We loved this hotel! The facilities were clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and we had a fantastic balcony with a sea view. The hotel was situated near the beach, making it convenient for us to take a dip in the sea whenever we wanted. Breakfast was also served, and it was delicious.

    Can't think of anything.

You can enjoy a variety of dishes that feature fresh seafood. the hotel has a great location, just in front of a beautiful island that you can easily reach by boat.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. the value for money was exceptional, with prices that were unbeatable for the quality of service offered. Secondly, the attention to detail was impressive, with spotlessly clean rooms and excellent shower and bathroom facilities. The room also had a nice balcony with a sea view, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. Lastly, the staff were friendly and accommodating, making sure that all our needs were met. I also loved the fact that the hotel was located right on the beach, providing easy access to the sea and stunning views.

    No negatives, everything was perfect.

Spent Christmas in this seaside hotel and we couldn't have been happier! The room was super clean with a fantastic shower, comfortable beds and a view of the sea. We liked that the hotel was located in a peaceful area with the sound of beautiful exotic birds, perfect for a relaxing break. We also enjoyed having a fridge in our room to store nibbles and drinks during our stay, it was a fantastic plus point.

The traffic around the hotel was a bit loud in the early morning and late evening, but during the night it was completely quiet. Another downside was the pulsed shower, which made it a bit challenging to have a relaxing wash.

The hotel was perfect for a weekend getaway. the location was great with easy access to all the main services you need and close to the beautiful beaches. the hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and the local cuisine was the highlight of our stay. We enjoyed the freshly caught seafood, which was cooked to perfection. the rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious, and the views from the balcony were breathtaking. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food and the overall service, which exceeded our expectations.

the hotel lacked a lift, which could be challenging for those with mobility issues.
